Poor Republicans. They really thought they had a handle on the beast in the box. The twisted crowd. The army of the dead.

Then they thought Trump stole it from them...that he was some sort of savant who could bend it to his will. They offered their bellies in fearful submission. But at least they hoped they could find opportunity in this new strongman.

Lately they have worried that Trump was never the controller at all, and that Bannon is the true power broker...one who might end them.

Meanwhile, Fox News always kinda thought it was them.

I don't think the ongoing survival of Roy Moore's candidacy is going to teach them that no one controls the beast anymore. That a thing fed on rejection of truth and raw emotive want for gratification can never be owned by any person or thing.
