I'd hate to see Theon go. His chapters were some of my favorite chapters in all the books especially in ADWD. (Favorite as in most fun/interesting to watch/read about, I don't really LIKE Theon seeing what he did in ACOK)

I'm not sure I do either. Just thought it was interesting. If it pans out, it's a really cool plant for later. Also, I'd love to see some dragons fight some dragons.

Apparently Jon thinks about ice dragons three times in ADWD. I think the implication, though, is that he is the ice dragon (Stark + Targ).

Which remaining major book events do you think we'll definitely get this season? I'm thinking Cersei's walk of shame for sure. I'd put good money on Pycelle's death and Arya's blindness. Even odds on Jon's attack. And a late holdout for Stoneheart.

A attempt to rescue Sansa/Jeyne Pool by the Spear Wives/brienne and the capture of Theon which can maybe lead to Balon's death in some way.
