At one point, it played WES followed by React, Respond, and it was fucking awesome. Those songs work really well together as a 1/2 punch. So much so, that i might make a new version of Dark Matter than just removes SoF and inserts WES at track one instead.
this sounds made up
If I had a nickel for every time an RM said that to me...

It makes sense to me that those songs would work well together.

i dont do that thing where you play the last record and go straight into the new one. I know the band employ some pj magic/science to that when theyre recording, but ive never done it.
LB just doesnt flow into Gigaton at all, they're two completely incompatible worlds. and thats fine.
But Gigaton and Dark matter. Thats a different matter they couldnt work better together and one into the other.
i might follow you and make a playlist of both and hit shuffle

There is some 13 track version of the best of Gigaton and Dark Matter that is the best PJ record since Riot Act. Maybe even Yield. And a couple of days ago I would have thought those 13 tracks didn't include WES. But now I know that's wrong. It absolutely MUST include WES. And it absolutely should be track 1.

That statement applies to the band’s whole catalogue.
