That sounds about the right amount of wipes for a decent one.

I think a good one is 3 wipes or less.

I think when you preemptively wipe clean enough, it activates a sort of "poop shield" so poop doesn't stick to skin. I can't explain it but it works.

Every once in awhile, maybe an hour or two after taking one, I feel like my wiping wasn't good enough and I perform an extra safety wipe. Sometimes you pick a few things up believe it or not. Usually this is just when I'm not feeling well.

Am I the only one?

No. Especially if I’ve been working outside or exercising or something and have worked up a sweat.

yeah, I think, with some movements, particularly when you pinch it off, remnants manage to hang back and turtle their way out as time passes, sullying a previously well-cleaned hole
