Can someone summarize this charity scandal for Stip? (and also me)
A man decided to raise funds for a charity of his name but it turns out his name was copyrighted by a charity project ran by Pearl Jam in his name, so they’ve locked horns for now.
it’s an extremely bad look.
It's his daughter's name, which makes it even worse
Is his daughter's name Vitalogy?
No, Tilly. Spenno posted the article here:

I'm sorry, I literally dribbled coffee over this...that's really funny.
More seriously, this is the first I've read of the issue...pretty gross, if true.

Also, I've gotta say this: My wife has done executive-level non-profit development for close to two decades now, and, Ed's Chief Executive making $530k a year is exorbitantly high for the Not for Profit sector, even for New York. Depends on their organizational budget, of course, but, It's essentially double the average for the position at even the most high-profile charity.
You're talking global, century-old, National Cancer Society levels there.

Hoping the Sun Sets on Ed's charity so Tilly and her family can get on with the business of raising money.

Puns aside (momentarily), I just want to point out that they have him on their financial records as both a co-founder and a board member. For anyone who wants to question whether or not Ed would be aware of certain conditions within the organization, he is legally obligated (as is Jill) to review and sign off on the annual budget. There is no chance whatsoever that he would be unaware of this situation.
Apologies for dragging us off-course. Is there a more appropriate thread to further discuss? My wife has some more detailed information...which she may or may not have acquired using internal professional development tools.
Now then....Back to dick joke island
