Re: Wreckage
Wreckage is up to #2 on the Triple A chart, #3 on Active Rock, and holding at #7 on Alternative.
Couple of notes: It might be tough to hit #1 on Triple A since Hozier's Too Sweet is in that spot, and it's the #1 song in the country right now according to Billboard. Also, interesting company on the Active Rock chart-- Five Finger Death Punch, Godsmack... and Wreckage?? Doesn't seem like it fits, but whatever.
This is all from Mediabase btw.

Wow, pretty solid news. I've not heard it once on the radio. Glad to hear others are!

I finally got my streaming/headphone settings to a point where this song doesn't physically hurt to listen to!

If I'm reading this right Wreckage is becoming more popular?

Re: Wreckage
Yasi Salek has talked a bunch about how much she loves this song. she is very complimentary to DM
I still think the ending is a bit longer than it needs to be, especially the coda. But up until that point it is just a masterpiece

Yes. Those numbers represent its position on each chart each week. In Wreckage's case, it debuted 9 weeks ago and has been climbing ever since.Bi_3 wrote:ggl wrote:Latest from the Billboard charts:

Loving this. If they drop Won't Tell after this, I won't say the G word, but be ready for Ed to have another crack at that speech...

Re: Wreckage
Won't Tell is great, but I'm not sure it has a place on the charts . It's not rock enough for modern rock it's not alternative enough for alternative. Maybe it would hold a place on Adult Alternative. It is there best chance though. The success of Glass by the Foos might be proving me wrong though

Re: Wreckage
I don't listen to much rock radio, but I've been checking the local rock station's playlists from time to time. Dark Matter has gotten a lot of play and I notice they're starting to finally spin Wreckage on regular rotation. It seems like it's still on the way up.

And I think the new Ed would love it now that he's seemingly no longer worried about alt/indie cred...

Won't Tell as a single is a terrible choice. The obvious answer is Scared of Fear.

Re: Wreckage
This is still moving up nicely everywhere in the charts. It's currently at #2 in Active Rock and will have a good shot to get to #1. I don't know if they've ever hit back to back #1s on that format (don't believe so). Alternative Rock is up to #6 and numbers 2 thru 4 are all trending down on plays.
This upcoming week is going to be weird once the July 4th holiday hits and all songs trend down due to alternative programming.

It's gotta be that Stevie song. No-brainer.Leatherhead wrote:Won't Tell as a single is a terrible choice. The obvious answer is Scared of Fear.
SOF is a great song for current PJ fans. Not-so-much for new-in-the-future fans.
