I think it's one of Ed's best songs of the last few years.
His solo recording is better than the band's cluttered version, admittedly.

They haven't recorded a better song since Sleight of Hand. They never recorded a better song before it either.

Wooden Matt keeps it stiff. It's a hard one to nail and I'm sure they tried a few things in the studio, well I hope they did.tragabigzanda wrote:I know it is; I like the demo a good amount. But the studio cut is so ham-fisted.LoathedVermin72 wrote:It's a good song trag, give it a chance

Re: Binaural: Official Album Thread
So I just read the Wikipedia page for Binaural (cuz that's what I like to do with my Thursdays) and I noticed that both Wendy Malvoin and Pete Thomas are listed under "Additional musicians and production" for percussion.
Anyone know how/where they contributed on this?

Found another thing on Discogs that also lists "vocal arrangement" for Melvoin.

When in doubt, suggest "hand claps." A time tested go-to.Strat wrote:good god fuck my brain isn't working today.evenslow wrote:That's not... percussion.Strat wrote:Strings on Parting Ways if i remember correctlyevenslow wrote:So I just read the Wikipedia page for Binaural (cuz that's what I like to do with my Thursdays) and I noticed that both Wendy Melvoin and Pete Thomas are listed under "Additional musicians and production" for percussion.
