I think it's one of Ed's best songs of the last few years.

His solo recording is better than the band's cluttered version, admittedly.

I know it is; I like the demo a good amount. But the studio cut is so ham-fisted.
Wooden Matt keeps it stiff. It's a hard one to nail and I'm sure they tried a few things in the studio, well I hope they did.

So I just read the Wikipedia page for Binaural (cuz that's what I like to do with my Thursdays) and I noticed that both Wendy Malvoin and Pete Thomas are listed under "Additional musicians and production" for percussion.

Anyone know how/where they contributed on this?

Found another thing on Discogs that also lists "vocal arrangement" for Melvoin.
