Soundgarden is playing outside Century Link Field a couple hours before kickoff for the Seahawks home opener.

Anyone know who's doing the Blow Up the Outside World cover on the Sin City 2 trailer? It's really good. Obviously not as good as the orig.

Can anyone confirm that Matt is playing drums on the Like Suicide demo?

Looks like a bootleg to me.

Am I the only person who doesn't think the band currently touring is Soundgarden? I have chosen to not pay attention to this tour because Matt Cameron is not drumming, and I don't feel even the slightest bit bad about it.

Every time I see Matt post I think "he's posting his SG stuff he's posting his SG stuff!!!!!".

I feel much the same, Matt.

I'd really like to know if Cameron will be back for the Australian shows in early 2015; if not, my interest in attending is minimal.

Give it time. I have three problems:
- The scarcity of good-sounding lossless material
- I have no time
- I am a total perfectionist

My SG mix is like 98% done but I want to ask: is it going to bother people to have 1) stuff that isn't lossless in FLAC format and 2) things that don't perhaps sound the greatest, but are totally worth having? Most of the best-sounding stuff from the reunion phase is of dubious origin (webcast, pro-video with lossy audio, etc).

What I can say:
4 discs plus a bonus EP of stuff that only exists in mp3 format
-----
1 disc of stuff from the Hiro era (1985-1989)
1 disc of stuff from the metal years (1989-1992)
1 disc of Superunknown/DOTU-era stuff (1994-1997)
1 disc from the reunion years

Lots of really random stuff and some things that generally aren't out there unless you've been looking really hard; there will also be things you would absolutely suspect. I'll save you the suspense and confirm that the entire Self-Pollution Radio set is included on disc 3. Beyond that...stay tuned.

I still enjoyed the show without Cameron there. As much as Matt fucking kills it with Soundgarden, Chamberlain was doing a good job and the band sounded good.

I would rather have stuff that's not A+ audio and is really cool than perfect sounding stuff that's more typical

Problem is that the shows will sell out long before we know the answer to that question.

I'm not too worried, I don't think this year's Soundwave sold out (in Adelaide, anyway) and I imagine the two-day set-up next year will probably split ticket sales to some degree.

Pretty sure Brisbane Soundwaves normally sell out.

I think Day 1 (or the SG/FNM day) will sell out everywhere. I'm not sure if I can go but I think I'll grab a ticket anyway.
