Sampled ten or so different expensive whiskeys/scotches last night. A mate has been collecting them and needed a drinking partner.

Favorites were the Kilchoman single malt, the Redbreast 18 year, and The Balvenie 21 year single malt.

Spike i need someone to enjoy this scotch with. Come over. There was like a two year period where every gift was a bottle of scotch, plus the ones i brought back from Scotland. Not complaining, i just want others to enjoy it! Everyone here in the south still drinks gross bourbon

Next US visit is scheduled for mid 2027, so it’ll just age another year.

I think I’ll be steering clear of this stuff for a bit. Met up with my mate who has the expensive whiskey collection again the other night. After two beers at the pub, we popped over to his office to sample some stuff and I got pretty wasted. Felt like trash yesterday and the wife wasn’t too impressed.
I can handle beer and wine okay, but spirits are at another level now for me. I guess it’s part of aging.
