This is 48 minutes long and it starts with a montage of people mixing drinks. I didn’t make it past that. Am I supposed to show this to my dad, or what?
Yes. While eating delicious, flame-broiled Whoppers.

I wonder how much money he lost gambling. Hearing him on Maron. I love how he doesn't care at all. I need to reread The Denial of Death.

Why so secretive? Is it Gallagher?
Jacqueline Novak. I couldn't think of her name off the top of my head.
Hey we finally went to this show we bought tickets to in May and it was good!

Jorge's hatred of MacDonald is one of those RM peculiarities I live for.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I never said I "hated" him. I only said
back in 2017, Jorge wrote:I will never fully understand Gen-X-to-older-millennials' fascination with Norm Macdonald. He's not super funny and he also seems like a dumb piece of shit
and also, Jorge wrote:Yeah he's definitely made me laugh. That appearance is pretty funny. But there's a whole cult of almost idolatry around him and I don't think it's warranted. He's fine as a comedian. Just fine.

Just finished Norm's audiobook of his book, Based on a True Story, a Memoir, read by Norm himself. It's nuts, sometimes downright stupid, and also lol hilarious. I even teared up a few times, in very unexpected places. Highly recommend.

His podcast was the funniest thing he ever did. Mangrate was not happy with their ads.

“Oh, come on now. Don’t make it sound like a fuckin’ fat, plumpy, delicious cock.”

Thanks for sharing that. I had forgotten about it. He was the absolute best.
