More like 5 days. And I could have waited, I just didn't.

I'll listen to the album when it's on Spotify but I don't feel any desire to search out the leak.

I don't use any of the streaming services, and I'm not holding out much hope that I'll have the physical copy in my hands tomorrow - so there's my justification.
7empest is such a beast of a song - was listening to this last night on my walk from work.
The only think that I'm disappointed about is in descending before the breakdown - Danny's gong isn't anywhere near as powerful as in the live version

Why though - I've already paid for the physical album

Spotify is worth it in general. The monthly sub allows you to save albums to play offline, and the quality is better than any rip save for lossless/FLAC.

Yeah, Spotify is pretty integral to my listening these days. The ability to go down some 60s jazz rabbit hole (for example) on a whim for a few hours is really amazing. It's led me to discover and enjoy way more music than I would've otherwise.
Easily worth the cost of premium membership for me.

The only time I really listen to stuff offline - is either at home when I'll play the physical media or when I'm going for a run or at the gym - and during those times I doubt I'd really notice the difference in sound quality too much

Because you can have all the recorded music in the history of man plus podcasts at your fingertips?

Not if you have a family plan, which is BS--I pay more per month than any of you assholes and can't get the Hulu deal.

There are more than 3 bands, Rangi. Spotify is a great tool for discovery.

I wrote a pair of articles on my blog about Tool (sort of), give it a read if you have way too much time to kill.
