I feel like it's still present to some degree. Nirvana always has a much more negative reaction in the PJ fanbase than anywhere else, at least from my experience.

Eddie's not really a beacon of good taste or common sense. He's a good singer and was a brilliant lyricist, when he's not getting all bent out of shape about political issues that he doesn't fully comprehend.

I think the same too. I think he considered Cobain as one of his peers, at a level where there were very few peers at their level.

That is just such an unbelievably fucked up thing to say about someone who just committed suicide, even if he was saddened (which I believe he was).

I'm not saying it was tasteful. I don't think he ever had the dysfunction that Cobain delt with but I believe he related that suicide to alot of the pressures and trials his fame was putting on him. In a way I think he was saying he thought Cobain was mentally tougher and we be able to endure longer.

"You know, all these people man," he says, " all lining up to say that his death was so fucking inevitable...well, if it was inevitable for him, it's gonna be inevitable for me, too, if this continues." "That's why this could be our last show in fuckin' for ever as far as I'm concerned. Kurt's death has changed everything. I don't know if I can do it any more.
