I was once you doug. there is a youtube code that i always tried and could never post. then i saw a very small yt code on the right of the screen. i started using that and could share videos

Doug, check this out. Here's the YouTube URL you used

The important part is the video ID. That’s the bit right after "v=" and before the "&" in the URL above. In this case, the ID is:
lK9qYISTzLw

So what are those bits on either side of it? The "watch?v=" is telling your browser what the video is, and all the stuff after "&" is adding a bunch of additional info for your browser (like where the video was linked from or whether it was part of a playlist, etc)

The problem is the yt code is designed to ONLY work with the video ID. All that other stuff is unnecessary and breaks the code.

So you're on the right track by using the yt code. You just need to make sure to edit the video URL so it's only those numbers.
