It's not worse than Morning Show but it has a similar Apple tv+ aesthetic of being really long and dull.

im having fun
Anne Hathaway is really good in this one. Leto of course it is.
Anne Hathaway is still playing Anne Hathaway (very well, I'll add!) but Leto has totally become Adam. Fantastic performance, really enjoying this one so far.

In the huckster drama genre I think wecrashed and The Dropout are both pretty good, much better than Inventing Anna. Haven't seen Super Pumped yet.
yeah, i agree. Leto is wonderful and he keeps doing new stuff with each chapter. And This one and The Dropout are better than Anna yes...The Dropout has some amazing comedy moments.

Super Pumped is another beast. Its more direct and it feels more close with Social Network. But is compelling, im loving it.
We started this one last night. You didn't tell me the score for the pilot is almost entirely PJ songs! I mostly like it even though the voiceover moments are a little cringe.

I have been posting about it yeah. Its mostly PJ songs. The voiceover is Quentin Tarantino. I think the show finds its voice more and more, and i would say by ep 3 its stronger.

Gordon Levitt is wonderful..and he gets more and more vicious with each episode. The ones were they talk about toxic work environment are amazing.

Been casually watching Peacemaker. It's alright - fills in time and doesn't require much attention

Both Leto and Hathaway deserves every award out there.

Yeah wecrashed is fantastic. Leto embodies that role.

We're mostly caught up on Super Pumped (still need to watch last night's episode) and it's so hit-or-miss. A lot of the scenework is great but everything they do in post--the voice-overs, the jump to animation--is just dogshit terrible, corny and unnecessary. Way too many of the characters talk in screenwriter voice, dropping pop culture references every chance they can. Last week's episode--where he's talking to Tim Cook--might be one of the worst episodes of television I've ever seen.

One episode left in Killing Eve S4, and at this point it's pure stockholm syndrome. I honestly don't know if I've seen a show run itself off a cliff like this. E7 was perhaps the best of the season by virtue of being competent rather than baffling and cringe. A real shame.

Leto is everything. Damn he is so talented.

Yeah, i get what you mean about Super Pumped. The use of music is also super weird, its just...there. But im having so much fun with Gordon Levitt and the rest of the cast is good too, so im mostly entertained.

Can you believe both of this stories are real?

Oh I know, I think that's what keeps me around even with the lesser shows like Super Pumped and Inventing Anna. In theory I could read a book or a bunch of articles about each case I guess but seeing it play out on screen makes for such good TV.

I was into the SP soundtrack at first but at this point it's really bizarre to use so much 90s rock for a show set in 2010s Silicon Valley. But JGL and Chandler are both great.

Hathaway has that actor problem in WeCrashed where her voice/accent comes and goes a lot.

Unless Rebekah’s supposed to be a little schizo.
