Honestly, when a movie goes straight to streaming my interest falls off a cliff. It just has the stink of straight to video.

Not even close. Netflix alone has released plenty of streaming exclusives that are well worth a watch.

I'm not saying that there are no good movies that go straight to streaming, I just struggle to take them seriously. I know it's not entirely rational, it's just how I feel.

yeah this is an awful take when they put Night Swim in theatres; the question of where to release your movie is now meaningless and the cinema is too expensive
