Yes, for once, I disagree.

I like Jack Black but doesn't have a lot of depth. I mean, he's not as shark-eyed and terrible in Kong as he is in something like Shallow Hal. But he's not at his best and I think there are a ton of actual actors who could have brought a lot more to the role.

i'm not sure jack black was the "perfect" choice for that role, but i thought he did well and it was the first time i didn't just outright dislike him in a role

and i agree with lv on the rampaging through new york being one of the weaker parts of the film

I've always loved the moment when Black starts tearing up while filming Watts on the boat.

I'm gonna go ahead and watch all the Rocky movies over the next few days. I've seen Rocky a couple times, but not for a few years. I have only seen some of the others, and it was in high school, so I don't know which ones or what I thought of them. Hopefully I make it through and come out the other side still interested in seeing Creed.
