I was definitely not excited for the phantom menace like this. Not one bit.

I was certainly excited for the dark knight rises but i was not nearly as emotionally attached to the films as I am with Star Wars. I can't really remember the last time ive been this excited over something. Feels good to have some child like wonder back!

But somewhat serious, who grabbed that thing from the pyre and saved it? Why, considering they wanted to erase all earthly trace of Anakin as Vader? Was it on Luke's mantle for 30 years?

han grabbed it as a cool souvenir and kept it on the mantle over his space fireplace at home.

and that ended up backfiring badly.

I'm becoming more and more of a sap but it warmed my heart to see so many parents and their kids at the 7 pm showing last night. I can't wait to watch it again with my dad when I go home for the holidays.
