Weird how that article says BoB produced Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Superunknown. Thought that was Drakoulias and Beinhorn. Did he mix them or something?

Thinking about it, it was Rubin that produced BSSM. Either way, it wasnt BoB.

I don't think BOB is nearly as bad as some of you guys. I just think his time with the band has sailed. I was always hoping they go back to work with Adam Kasper.

he was a fantastic producer back in the day. i also think there was much more push/pull and creative tension with the band back around vitalogy and no code. i think the problem with lightning bolt has more to do with expediency.

It feels like they use him to make decisions to avoid conflict amongst each other

yeah that's part of what i meant by expediency. he's a pro that knows the dynamic of the band. they don't have to spend too much time in the studio and BOB can get things done.

And then Stone can just hate Eddie on tour, instead of on tour AND in the studio

I would love a really honest documentary, like the Eagles one about Pearl Jam.
