i think you're gonna need a major blowout or something in their final season. I think they actually genuinely love and respect each other that airing dirty laundry while they are still together would be weird and probably cause more problems ? Im sure they all piss eachother off enough but what relationship doesnt?

I just want an unfiltered look at their creative process. It doesn't need to be an airing of dirty laundry. Everything is kept under lock and key to an almost comical degree.

It doesn’t have to be all shots at each other, just really honest. More positive than negative, but not your typical pr material. Tell it like it happened.

yep would kill for this. they treat the creative process like a clandestine mission sometimes.

a really great documentary could be made about the leadup to the release of vitalogy in which ed gains control of the band from stone. there must have been so much tension at that point.

I think the band sorely lacks a moral compass: someone that can be honest with them and tell them what sucks. if he’s in agreement with their decisions over the past 10 years or so, then he’s probably not the guy.

It's not just his influence on their songwriting (or what songs make the records anyway), I think the last two albums sound terrible too. There's no air or life to the sound. He worked on some good stuff way back when but I definitely think he's lost his touch (or his hearing) in recent years.
