I think the scene could have been better. I know there’s been some talk of him not getting a medal on-screen in the OT, but the way the scene was presented in TROS, just felt incomplete. For him being force sensitive it is. What he was going to tell Rey I don’t know. My guess is that he loves her. I thought that was what he wouldn’t say.
