Se we can stop going round in circles on this one:

Now, J.J. Abrams has revealed what exactly was on Finn's mind in The Rise of Skywalker. The director was on hand at an Academy screening of the sequel where he took some questions at the end. However, Abrams' comments regarding Finn were made after the event when a Star Wars fan asked what Finn's secret message was, as there are quite a few unanswered The Rise of Skywalker questions. As it turns out, he wanted to tell Rey that he was Force sensitive, according to Abrams. Though it was never explained, most of the audience was able to pick up on that aspect of Finn's message.
Apparently there are hints in TFA (force sounds in early scenes?) and obviously with him using a saber.

In TROS when Rey dies on Exegol after defeating Emperor Palpatine, Finn is on the Falcon senses it. He also locates which Star Destroyer is leading the fleet based on a "feeling".

Yeah I get that Finn is force sensitive, its just that there is no actual connection to his secret in the movie. It doesn't even make sense. Why would you have to tell Rey that as you're sinking? what difference would that make then? Why would you hide it after?

The answer to those questions is that JJ is full of shit in that talk.

It doesn’t make sense to me. Finn in what he thinks are his and Rey’s final moments, dying, he needs to tell Rey:

1. Rey, I love you!

Or

2. Rey, I’m force sensitive too!

"Reeeeey! Reeeeey! I'm force sensitive too! Because we share the same mother! Lando is my father! Yes, he got around!"

I never care what reviewers think. If I look at a public score I would rather see the audience score.
It should go without saying but of course neither should matter
Indeed.
Spot on. I don't give a fuck about what anyone else thinks about movies. I make my own damn mind up.
Of course everyone draws their own conclusions. A reviewer's take, or any take here, is just another set of opinions to consider.

I’ve seen it twice and like it. Not sure what the haters don’t like.

Pretty obvious Palpatines plan was to have Rey and Ren appear infront of him together to take both their life forces.

I loved
Ren he is by the far the best thing to come out of the trilogy imho
Palpatine
I think Rey Poe & Finn have great chemistry
Rey - Daisy does a great job
Hux being what he is
C3PO hilarious
Bubu frik
Everything on the desert planet(apart from the serpent)
Rey and Rens connection/light saber duels
Rey’s heritage
Less Rose (this series Jar Jar)
Lando
Han

Dislike
Knights of Ren = this movies Phasma
Finn is a nothing character his constant screaming is ridiculous
Zori Bliss
Jannah

Minor points:
I would of liked to of seen all the Jedi behind Rey when she took down Palpatine
I would of liked the battle scene at the start to feel like a battle and see Ren destroy in real speed
I would of liked Leia to say more to Ren than “Ben” even “Ben Stop” would of been better
No need for the Porgs or Ewoks to be in this movie

9/10

“Hey, kid.” That was the one moment where tears welled up for me. It turns out my love for Star Wars is pretty reliant on Han Solo.

Having read the last few pages, there isn’t a ton of original thoughts for me to share, but here are a few things on my mind:

1 Finn deserved better. He was the most interesting of the 3 in TFA and his big trilogy moment was killing Phasma, who was also wasted.
2 Lando didn’t need to be in this at all. I hope he took that girl to an orthodontist before metooing her.
3 The music is still the best, isn’t it?
4 Was Warwick Davis in this? Was he one of the Ewoks?

It was fine. Not as beautiful aesthetically as TLJ, which I watched for only the second time ever yesterday, but it felt more like Star Wars. It really is too bad the 3 film story hadn’t been written before any of it was filmed.

Oh, and you get the beautiful and talented Keri Russell and dress her up as a purple power ranger? Wtf?

Warwick was wicket yeah. Lovely tie in :)

For me Han showing up was just a winding gut punch in the best way.
Started weeping.

But ‘dad....’ ‘I know’

That just broke me.

There’s people out there saying that was awful and such a cheap call back.
Those people are wrong. And they’re heartless

It’s a beautiful moment and because it’s a callback

This is the biggest flaw for all three movies. The trilogy suffers because of it.

That is how the original trilogy was written, but lightning doesn't always strike twice.

Yeah, definitely more evident in this trilogy

I thought Lucas had a multi year outline for Star Wars when he wrote the first movie. Although, there were certainly things changed along the way.

Hey guys, been laying low avoiding this site / page, but got around to seeing this yesterday, so my self imposed ban is over I reckon. So I really liked this, more so than the other two. I mean there were some things I didn’t like and things that didn’t make sense to me, but it was a fun ride.
To echo what Got Some said, I would have liked to see all those Jedi behind Rey, that would have been really cool. The voices were neat, but seeing them would have been better. I also thought the very end should have showed Anakin and Ben along with Luke and Leia to show all the Skywalkers together.
I really liked Rey’s lightsaber. The yellow blade makes so much sense for her, and it was cool to see it on the big screen. I always thought the color looked cool when I first saw an AOTC teaser with Yoda wielding a yellow light saber (obviously changed for the film). It looked cool in the CW series too when the Jedi guards used it.
I am still a little disappointed that Harrison, Carrie, and Mark never got at least one scene all together. Still fun ride and looking forward to seeing it again.
