Rockstar trying and ease the negativity of re-announcing the GTAV PS5/XSX release date. As much as they piss me off, I'll be all over GTA VI when it drops in 10 years

FWIW, the announcement didn't say the next step was GTA VI.

If you make the protagonist a black trans woman, you can pretty much allow players to kill anyone they want. it's all about the oppression hierarchy.

Nope. I think I saw an IGN article calling that out (save $10 if you're a PS5 owner). I also think I read that any future PS5 upgrade will be around $10 (like GoW). Originally I think the HFW upgrade was around $10 when pre orders were announced, but they reversed that decision and made it free after abrupt fan backlash.
Pre-ordered the PS4 digital version. Gonna get a burrito with the $10 I saved.

I briefly considered buying the really expensive Collector's Edition, so no judgement here!

When is the earliest possible time any Starfield gameplay will be released? E3 in June?

I'm becoming more and more open to the idea of buying a Series S in March around bonus time, getting Game Pass so I can kick chud's butt in MLB the Show, and then having it for Starfield at launch. It'd be my first XBox console, but as a Fallout/Skyrim fanboy I feel like I don't want to miss this, but I am also wary of pre-orders and such.

Just realized it's on Game Oass day one, so that solves my problem.

I'm planning on having a late afternoon coffee to play the first 1-2 hours Thursday night.

Why does every open world game get compared to Breath of the Wild? Is this becoming a trope of open world game criticism?

I've noticed that for sure. Even still the criticisms all seem relatively minor. Sounds like a few of the small annoying things from the first game will return, but based on a majority of the reviews, the good seems to far outweigh the bad. Can't wait to dive into this one. I've only been reading a few reviews. Not watching anything as those video reviews/clips always seem to spoil way too much.

The Horizon special edition box and overall package is quality. Nicely put together and constructed. Only thing that pisses me off is those who wanted the physical editions don't have an option to get the other digital in game perks/bonuses. Not a huge deal but irritating to not have the option

Elden Ring is being called a masterpiece. If Forbidden West and this are any indication, 2022 will live up to the hype.
