Brees injuring his thumb and requiring surgery is one of the only injuries I can think of that can actually sideline and NFL quarterback.

With Brees out at least six weeks I do feel bad for the Saints.
But I don't feel bad for the Saints fans; what an insufferable lot they've become.

What happened to him? Collar bone? Broken bones and torn ligaments are the only things a QB should sit out for. Even then, didn't Rivers play the AFC championship with a torn ACL?

I think Ben could probably play through his elbow boo boo, for example.

I don't know how it's even possible, but MacFarland is even worse on MNF this year than he was last year

Negative, I was in Scotland.
Did you eat any curry over there?
i had a tasty app or soup that incorporated curry i think, but i didn't get actual curry until heathrow before our flight. predictably, being at an airport, it sucked.

we usually return to a great indian place in london we went to our first time there, but this time we only had one night in town so we hit up fergus henderson's saint john instead.
nice, I've been there..did you get some bone marrow?
of course
this should be moved to the restaurant thread so we talk about if you had the lamb sweetbreads with peas and shallots

Weird decision.

Why would you have not just cut Eli before the start of the regular season and saved the cap space?

This is a franchise that gave OBJ a big contract and then traded him a few months later, leaving them $16 million in dead money this season.

Perfect game to make him look great, though, against the Bucs. Giants fans will have hope for one week, at least
