I rewatched the first 4 episodes with the wife last night and she was hiding her face at certain parts it got so tense.

Apart from the speeder bike Chase scene I’m not sure why everyone hates episode 3. Danny Trejo and the rancorous scenes were fantastic

The commentary had a funny point about the Pike Syndicate. If you're using space ships to smuggle drugs across the universe, what reason would you have for loading them on a train and move them across the surface of a planet?

He crawled out of the pit in his armour.

Then went unconscious and jawas took his armour and left him for dead.
Then the sand people found him.
It’s right there in the first episode.

It was a reference to you being late, but then I remembered that mike untz sent me all that in a PM, and didn't post it.

I stopped midway through the second episode I need to finish this.

Overall I enjoyed this series and didn't get the general disdain for it. My daughters especially loved it since they know they're distantly related to Tem. They loved going to school/kindy and telling people (somewhat falsely) that Boba Fett was thier cousin

I don't think there is a general disdain. I think there is a general enjoyment with some weaknesses that have been pointed out, mostly around structure and focus.
