96583UP is providing a valuable counter-balance on the board right now and I am here for it.

Yea but you know he's just trolling, right? So its not a true balance in the force.

it's not a troll if you believe it

and i believe it

and i have just the right amount of metabolic imbalance to keep hammering the issue home

i am just one against at least five hundred or more in PJ forum right now

but i am fine with that

5(00) 4 3 2 1 against 5(00)

1 1

1 against 5(00)

Underneath the hyperbole, there's a beating heart of sincerity in 96's posts.

less new songs

they did it on LB tour

they can do it again

they just need to realize the new songs suck

then get back to the normal rotation

which seems inevitable when they play a large market and the crowd is visibly annoyed and un-engaged

then it affects the profit shadow

then they course-correct
All signs point to the crowds liking the new songs, and how exactly is a "large market" venue any different than a "small market" one? They are arenas in both places. Also, one of those new songs is the new closer. That seems like at least a medium-sized unprecedented thing.

Anyway, your opinion that the new album sucks doesn't need validation. It's just as valid as anyone else's.

Did the same with Indifference when Vs came out.

oh man that was rough, but i made it

upper hand and waiting for stevie are salvageable

don't think i would seek them out but could be interesting live

overall:
- this is an adult contempo album
- Ed is torn between a spritzy punker and a soap star. his vocal approach is absolutely awful between the edgeless-punky micro machines word salad and the glam bridges
- The casual F-bombs through out say more about Ed’s weak intellect than they do about who/whatever he is cursing
- PJ at least ’borrowed’ a riff from: RHCP, Bruce, and Pink Floyd when writing 3 of these songs
- I often wondered what PJ would become as they aged and found comfort with who they are in old age, and I envisaged it closer to Neil Young
- I am happy that they are happy but this is not my kind of music
- I will continue to watch these setlists closely and will put my tix up for sale if the number of new songs does not reduce
- I feel sorry for any person that paid $200+ to attend one of these shows and got stuck with west virginia sex offnder hat Ed and no Yellow Ledbetter closer
- For all of you that enjoy this album, I hope you already have a mate that loves you. If you don’t, make sure not to share this music with prospective mates as you will almost certainly be rejected as un-verile

if they reliably clump the dark splatter songs in the middle i can begin my urination / beer refill process and even drop a number 2 potentially or purchase some nachos and then be back in time to watch the rest of the show and shit my pants from the overpriced nachos

Alright so on TM "face value exchange tickets" are 800 a pop

I thought face value exchange tickets was for exchanging tickets at face value

Wtf tickets were 800 at face? What a joke

These are people who bought them at the inflated “PJ Premium” prices and are now trying to unload them. That was technically the face value of the tickets originally. For Portland at least, there are plenty of resale tickets in the upper level for $183, which was the original “face value”. I hate Ticketbastard.

I sometimes feel like I can fly across the country n get a tic for one of those shows cheaper than I'd pay for an east coast ticket

I'm not totally agreeing w 965, but somewhat I am.. I feel terrible for anyone that paid 700 and is gonna get a 2 hour show with 40% dark matter tracks

Actually I don't feel bad for anyone who paid that much, they're the problem

I was reading about fans in Paris this week for the 4 Swift shows there getting resale tickets for around $150 because they have stricter laws. Why is it so hard to do here in the States?
