As an avid enjoyer of Elliott Smith for many years I am predictably giving the new Christian Lee Huston record a lot of air time.

The new Shovels & Rope album is fine. Nothing too exciting, honestly. Maybe it'll grow on me.

But the new Bright Eyes is solid. Nowhere near top tier. But still very surprising and enjoyable.

I checked out David Gilmour new album "Luck and Strange" before heading off to see him in Rome the other night. The album is nice enough, good for background for sure, but the song his daughter Romany Gilmour, sings, Between Two Ponts, is excellent. This was beautifully done at the concert.

Digging this new stuff from Thurston Moore.

i agree. and this is probably why i love it so much.

It's out on streaming here (Australia) so I'm sure it will be available elsewhere in the next 12-24 hours.

The new Smile record is today's soundtrack. I think I prefer the non-singles to the singles.
