Top 3 out of 10, now you have my attention.

Top 5 out of say 20+, now you have my attention.

Top 5 out of 10 is quite literally middle of the road.

Speaking of math, Pearl Jam have released eleven studio albums.

Then there's also that rarities record.

The transformation of the band in five years from ten to no code is incredible.

Two monster albums. Two totally different bands. Same artists.

Awesome

It really was. Although for me personally peak output was years 3-5. Vitalogy-Merkinball-No Code is my absolute peak for the band.

Both Merkinball songs and All Night, could replace whatever you like least on the album.

This is also technically true of any album.

Has anyone listened to any of these digital remasters? WOW some of these songs sound way different to me. I'm hearing different guitar parts and little vocal parts that were buried in the original mix. Not saying its better or worse but a very intriguing listen to an album I know like the back of my hand.

Honestly i love No Code just the way it is, tiny warts towards the end of the album and all.

By my count Pearl Jam released 14 flat out 5 star songs in a 2 year stretch. Unreal!
