I love "Little Wing" and "The Old Homestead", but yeesh there are some embarrassing songs on the second half of Hawks & Doves.

I really love his sense of composition and performance. It's so unique and unusual in understated ways. The songs never quite do what I would expect them to in the hands of more conventional songwriters/performers.

Listening to Le Noise right now and, well, what am I supposed to take from this album? it's almost like he's mixed the vocals too far above the instruments, it just doesn't sound right.
