That late? How about the instant he was drafted in 2007?4/5 wrote:You sound like a Dolphins fan circa 2009.spike wrote:ted ginn suuuuucks
he had a few steps on the defender on that drop, for whatever that's worthspike wrote:is ginn even that fast anymore? that's been his only redeemable quality.
The group I was watching the game with definitely noticed that. We didn't know what the hell he meant.Simple Torture wrote:When they were carting Lockette off the field, did anyone else notice that Brennaman said something like, "It always important to remember that the men out there on the field are sons, fathers, brothers, and...sisters."

My wife and I have noticed that there have been a number of moments this season where commentators have begun talking about head injuries...and then suddenly they switch direction in mid-sentence. I've got to imagine they have a director yelling, "Abort! Abort!" into their ear.RussellManiac12 wrote:The group I was watching the game with definitely noticed that. it would be even stranger if that caused them to talk about abortionsSimple Torture wrote:My wife and I have noticed that there have been a number of moments this season where commentators have begun talking about head injuries...and then suddenly they switch direction in mid-sentence. Are they really that far from being competitive? I always believed that Caldwell was just not a good head coach and I'm sure there's a few roster problems, but they don't seem to me like they should sell arguably their best offensive asset even if he's on the downturn.Chris_H_2 wrote:the lions should've traded calvin Johnson
he's 30, trade him for picks while he still has value. they need to rebuild their entire defense.Mecca wrote:Are they really that far from being competitive? Yeah, and they show far fewer replays of head injuries now.turned2black wrote:Simple Torture wrote:My wife and I have noticed that there have been a number of moments this season where commentators have begun talking about head injuries...and then suddenly they switch direction in mid-sentence. they need a complete rebuild from the top down. if they could shed bloated contracts (which is obviously easier said than done) they need to do it and start from scratch with new management leading the way. most people got fooled from last year's team. but it was really a paper tiger, and got extremely lucky in some come-from-behind wins that, but for them, would've seen them miss the playoffs (again).Mecca wrote:Are they really that far from being competitive?
