I wish they'd just use Gordon and Uehara out of the pen and never touch Lyle or Okajima again.

Because of what if tournaments, Dickie Thon is becoming a favorite player of mine even though Dickie Thon could walk into my house wearing his uniform and I wouldn't know who he was.

I hate WhatIfs inclination to go to the same relievers all the time. I wish there was a way to rank them. I guess that type of thing is included in the pay to play leagues.

Maybe we should consider a midpoint roster adjustment. I'd actually be fine with not adding anymore players. But, I wouldn't mind having the opportunity to drop some dead weight.

If you drop someone you have to add someone.

I'm not actually advocating for a mid-season roster change session this season, btw. It's taken me a long time, but I've learned to just not draft long relievers or guys who started and relieved in the same season. You pretty much have to stick to closers, LOOGYs, and set-up men from this century.

I left my stats in there so you can fiddle. Feel free to delete the data.

Updated lineup:
1. Anson - 1B
2. Sandberg - 2B
3. Banks - SS
4. Sosa - RF
5. Wilson - CF
6. Santo - 3B
7. Williams - LF
8. Hartnett - C

No unearned runs allowed yet, and 10 out 12 quality starts is certainly a turn around from all the other teams I've managed. Hopefully we can keep it up.
