TBS was really pushing the Ortiz/destiny thing in the eighth.

"Ortiz coming up with a chance to tie the game!"
"Ortiz walks! He's the tying run!"
"Ortiz trying to rally the team by getting the crowd into it!"
"Look at Ortiz giving Hernandez advice as he comes in to run for him!"

They were really desperate for Boston to come back so they could credit him for whatever happened. Then when they didn't score they just defaulted to showing his reaction after every pitch.

I'm glad Boston's out just so we don't have to watch that anymore.

I totally understand; I've been through it with a dozen other teams' players, so as much as it means to us, I see how fucking annoying it can be.

A Blue Jays fan account favorited and retweeted one of my Papi tweets. Should I ask if they know you?

Oh, you'll still have to watch TBS for the ALCS.

Isn't it on a different station in Canada?

No, we get the TBS feed for the playoffs, too.

The FS1 camera work is fine. TBS seems like they have a bunch of college interns doing the majority of the work.

Me either. I will say, I've watched more baseball in the past week then I have all year, so I am definitively not an authority on the matter.
