Yes, I don't think we'll agree here either. Jaime is no innocent angel, but it's difficult for me to see the reasoning behind him being seen as worse than people with countless lives on their hands, not killed in battle, but just because of what family or class they belong to.durdencommatyler wrote:Like I said, we have different rubrics/perspectives on this stuff. In a story that deals so much with ambiguity and grey morality, I can find plenty of room for Arya (especially) and Dany. Noble causes may be hollow to some but in the world they've created, I believe they are meaningful. This is all super complex stuff with no easy answers and that's what I like about it. Reducing each character to "killing innocents" or "bad" or "good" is missing the forest for the trees, I think. Or at least, it's not a very compelling argument to me.Anders wrote:Arya killed all the 51 male members of House Frey with poison.
Daenarys have several times killed people (I will answer injustice with injustice), she didn’t know were guilty (guilt by association), or executed those who didn’t want to join her (like the Tarly’s).
Tyrion was a lot smarter when he was having regular sexdurdencommatyler wrote:Have you guys watched the Game Revealed behind the scenes feature yet? If you're interested in the actual craft of making this thing it's pretty phenomenal.
But I have to say one of my favorite parts is Peter Dinklage sort of half-snarkily talking about how stupid it was to put the women and children in a crypt. How no one thought this shit through. He jokes, "Tyrion's smart but I guess not that smart." They way he says it is hilarious.

There is also that episode of Seinfeld where Elaine stops having sex and becomes a moron (and George stops having sex and becomes a genius).Simple Torture wrote:Backed up from balls to brains.Mecca wrote:Tyrion was a lot smarter when he was having regular sexdurdencommatyler wrote:Have you guys watched the Game Revealed behind the scenes feature yet? Going back to this... watching the BTS thing I mentioned... the director talks about how at one point they "ran out of stunt guys to throw at" Sam and so he literally (the actor) just sat down and started crying and they thought it was so brilliant that they kept it in.cutuphalfdead wrote:You mean improbably survived despite just crying on the ground while the undead swarm around him?durdencommatyler wrote:The way Sam was handled in this ep was perfect.dimejinky99 wrote:Well..except Tarly
