Last night I made pork chops with this bourbon-brown sugar-apple topping. Mashed potatoes and green beans on the side.

It's true. And it's not something I understood until relatively recently. I was never much of a cook/meal planner. But over the last few years my wife has really helped guide me to a pretty comfortable place. Still learning all the time, obviously. I think that never stops.

But, yeah, you're right. It's a great feeling.
