I'm sure Rey knows he has the hots for her. Maybe he was trying to tell her that he was breaking things off to go after Rose.

They were dying.

There’s probably too much ‘from a certain point of View’ all over this film

Yep. From a certain point of view it was a mess of a movie. Still from my pov, I dug it.

So, is it just me or did anyone else think the yellow lightsaber was cool?

Anyone else think Ben and Anakin should have joined Luke and Leia at the end?

He was fantastic. Very funny with him and C3PO.
Yes he was 10 times better than the Porgs
I like when Babu introduces himself to someone and C3PO says “oh he’s one of my oldest friends!” (This is after memory wipe; before memory restore)

BurtReynolds wrote:Yeah I get that Finn is force sensitive, its just that there is no actual connection to his secret in the movie. It doesn't even make sense. Why would you have to tell Rey that as you're sinking? what difference would that make then? Why would you hide it after?
I think it’s a bit of both. In the sinking sand it was probably that he has feelings for Rey. I think it’s just one of those things that the movie leaves up to the viewer to decide.

This is the biggest flaw for all three movies. The trilogy suffers because of it.
That is how the original trilogy was written, but lightning doesn't always strike twice.
True. The OT had the benefit of ANH being the first movie in this universe, and they could basically write anything to expand to the next two movies.
With 6 movies before it, tons of legacy EU, tv cartoons, books and comics, and fan expectations, the ST was already in a precarious position to make the ST work.

Maybe?
It looked like the cover of some Christian pamphlet about the Bible or something.

But ‘dad....’ ‘I know’
That just broke me.
There’s people out there saying that was awful and such a cheap call back.
Those people are wrong. And they’re heartless
It’s a beautiful moment and because it’s a callback
I agree with every word of this.

This is why I think I’m not much into SW anymore. You (and others) were excited about this new yellow blade. I just saw it as “oh she created her own saber and it’s a different color.”

He very much did not.
