At his rally just last night, Donald Trump said that COVID-19 ‘affects virtually nobody,’ despite infecting almost 7 million Americans.

I don't think the science knows.

So with so many US citizens having gotten Covid and the push to abolish the Affordable Care Act, thereby removing pre-existing conditions from insurance coverage (I know Trump says he's all about pre-existing conditions, but as everyone knows, what Trump says has zero relationship to what actually occurs or the truth), how does anyone in their right mind think now is the time to go this path?

Trump has no alternative plan (again, he says he does, but he says a lot of things really) except for some weird arse fetishized need for revenge on Obama for being a black president or something.

If the ACA goes pre-existing conditions go. And doesn't that mean almost 50% of the people the ACA was helping will suddenly once again be without coverage? Now also including anyone who contracted Covid as well.

I can't get past this one. Seems such a straightforward one to me, yet I see many people yelling loudly about the scourge of socialised healthcare. Crazy. Surely that's a better situation then no health care, which is what is currently on the table should the ACA go.

They want us to blame each other to confuse from the fact our leadership and experts failed. Stupid hash tag crap like "cult of selfishness" is case in point.

Because....COVID survivors who are 1, 3, 5, or 10 years past recovery don’t yet exist to be studied? I don’t understand your question.

I blame exhaling. Think how much better the world would be if nobody exhaled. Exhaling contributes to both global climate change and the spreading of covid. If anything it's the cult of exhaling. Clinton didn't inhale, his real crime was exhaling.

Is there anything preventing the U.S. from making the pharmaceutical supply chain part of National Defense? Make that shit here instead of another tank?

They'd have to know what to make and have a patent for it.

We'd also have to have a President and Senate who gave a fuck.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Just calling back to what others had said about not trusting scientists cause they didn't have a complete handle on this virus right from the outset despite it being something completely new
