Heh Pixar released my favorite Pixar movie and my least favorite Pixar movie in the same year.
Good Dinosaur was closer to Cars or Monsters Inc than their best stuff. Tries to be a western but it's very kiddie. Really uninspired, annoying (and extremely ugly) characters, some generic tripe about being brave, etc. Just yucky.

Monsters was ok, but not one of their best. I haven't seen the sequels to either Cars or Monsters, though. They looked like cash grabs.

There are some weird Coen-esque bits in this that are kinda fun, but they're copying more than taking inspiration from Coen movies.
Actually this movie is made up entirely of bits and pieces from far better movies.
