Also, a lot of what JJ and Rian did thematically in all the trilogy is interesting. They really fucked up how to tell this story tough.
I'll never tell someone their opinion is wrong. But I can not relate to or understand this. His arc is fantastic and he's one of the strengths of this final chapter. I'm bummed that you don't see it. Because it's all right there as far as I can tell.

And where were you champions of right and wrong when others did the same to me?

Yeah, that's what I thought.

Joe, my dear joe...im so happy that you seem to enjoy so much this new movie and the trilogy. I do too. But i also want to talk about the huge flaws this trilogy have. Huge ones really.
And its fine if you like it anyway...please, dont feel like im posting to argue. Please.

If you like Finn's arc thats ok. I know you love a lot of movies and music and art i consider garbage, so thats fine. I feel Finn's character had a lot of potential then turned into a joke.

I wasn't trying to offend you or come off as superior. I was just expressing a different point of view. Obviously however I presented it is off-putting, and I'm sorry about that. Not my intention at all.

The movie is highly flawed. The trilogy is highly flawed. Please don't think that I think this is a perfect movie. But I do think Finn's arc is well articulated. The Force stuff doesn't totally work for me but the human stuff really resonates. That's all I was trying to say.

My apologies to McP and Burt and you. I wasn't trying to be a dick guys. Just talking about a dumb space fantasy series that I happen to like.

We all get worked up about things we love. I get worked up about Star Trek. Burt gets worked up about total societal breakdown. Etc.
