Maybe, but he’s a shit leader unfit for any sort of role in governance, so who cares?

Bush & Trump didn't win the popular vote but governed liked they had a mandate.
I hope Biden takes this approach.

No, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada would work
so far so good!
This is the closest FiveThirtyEight model I can find to the current circumstances. There are some where Biden loses Pennsylvania, but those include wins in Ohio or Florida. It IS possible for him to win without Pennsylvania, but no one found that to be particularly credible as of Monday.

He can win by taking NV, WI, and MI.
Yes, ...

Bush and Trump also controlled both the House and the Senate (via a 50-50 split in 2000), so, that makes a big difference.

Biden currently has a 2.5 million vote lead in popular vote which will almost certainly be a lot higher when this is all said and done.

I meant that I want Biden to govern like he had a mandate.
Of course the McConnell Senate is going to obstruct everything

I guess I'm confused--how can you govern as if you have a mandate without Senate control? Your two examples are presidents who had Senate control. Without that, all Biden really has is partial bipartisan measures or executive orders.

Big chance. Associated Press already called it for Biden.

84% votes are in and he's up by just under 100K.

I was thinking of it flipping back to Trump. Read there are a lot more uncounted votes there than they thought.

Looking at what is left to count, the biggest votes still out there are in the 3 Biden leaning counties. I think he will be safe

I just dove into Georgia's uncounted vote and there is a ton left in DeKalb county (Biden leading with 83% there). Biden might still win Georgia.
