R2 woke when Rey arrived on that planet.
I was fully expecting them to be saved by Han and chewie. It seemed obvious a second or two before it happened but I enjoyed it@SkitchP wrote:dimejinky99 wrote:@SkitchP wrote:dimejinky99 wrote:@SkitchP wrote:I hated the Falcon reveal. So telegraphed.
shut it..that reveal was amazing...it's visible in the periphery for a couple of shots if you look for it..
but that reveal was perfect..pure star wars
It would have been great without the whole
"What about that ship... No, its garbage" part.
change it..
imagine him goin 'what about that one?' and her goin 'ok' and just running at it..
that would scream lazy. they didnt even try with it...
the way they did it works better and first audience cheer in the two screenings i attended
Making it the 2nd option after blowing up the first would have not been lazy. There essentially was no visual reveal because you knew exactly what they were about to show.
Well that certainly makes her lukes daughter. I guess the guy with the map was supposed to watch over herLetMeSleep wrote:R2 woke when Rey arrived on that planet.
I don't feel comfortable choosing sides in the inevitable Stip/LV war. Hopefully a big death star will blow us all up.LetMeSleep wrote:Don't run, Burt
I enjoyed it but I can see how that could have been screen time that went to something elseMonkey_Driven wrote:That sequence was so short it didn't really bother me.dimejinky99 wrote:hate when people make me realise shit...
the whole sequence with Han, the two gangs and the dangerous animals..that whole sequence serves no purpose really..except to establish Han is back being a scoundrel, but the story didnt need it at that length
What'd you think about Goth Vader?BurtReynolds wrote:I don't feel comfortable choosing sides in the inevitable Stip/LV war. Hopefully a big death star will blow us all up.LetMeSleep wrote:Don't run, Burt
No, I mean a really big death star. Like bigger than both the other ones put together. Fucking huge.
I was expecting a trainwreck, so I guess he was ok?EJ wrote:What'd you think about Goth Vader?BurtReynolds wrote:I don't feel comfortable choosing sides in the inevitable Stip/LV war. Hopefully a big death star will blow us all up.LetMeSleep wrote:Don't run, Burt

LVs review is nonsense. And McP is criticizing a movie he hasn't seen yet based on overinflated new hope comparisonscutuphalfdead wrote:I haven't seen this yet but I feel like I'm going to be closer to LV than to strat on this one.

This is like complaining that they put light sabers back into the movie.
