I used to call it the “scamdemic.” I thought it was an overblown media hoax. I made fun of people for wearing masks. I went all the way down the rabbit hole and fell hard on my own sword, so if you want to hate me or blame me, that’s fine. I’m doing plenty of that myself.

Kudos to this dude. Seriously. People's inability to just admit they were wrong and course correct is one of our worst problems as a nation.

That's an awful story but im not sure he should feel all that guilty. It's not like he went to a big super spreader event with strangers. It's scary, but that kind of situation could happen to any of us unless we just go full doomer and seal from society completely. I don't know too many people who are isolating from family anymore 8 months into this.
