That’s the part that absolutely enrages me. Can you imagine the backlash if Kamala had done that in the last election? Or if Biden or Obama or Hillary? Republicans would be (rightly) incensed about the very idea of bribing people for votes. But when Trump does it everyone’s response is it’s just “Trump being Trump.” Bullshit. I mean yes, in the sense it’s illegal and practically everything he does is a illegal or a lie, but we can’t have gotten to a place where someone can unabashedly break the law in no uncertain terms and everyone’s reaction be, “oh, well.”

The democrats and never Trumpers should issue a joint statement saying they’ll pay us $10,000 instead of just $5000. Hell, if it’s gonna be allowed, I want fair market value for my vote.

Indeed the selective outrage is quite remarkable. I definitely feel the ship is sinking (hopefully not the entire US) though I read this earlier that many that have been lock-step thus far in to the 2.0 experiment will die by Trump rather than defer... atrocious.
