i don't think there's any chance that we get any resolution on or questions answered about what happens to the wall or the night's watch.

But don't you think it's easy enough to draw satisfactory answers without being explicitly told?

As it stands, the Wall is mostly destroyed. There is no Night's Watch. What more do you want explored?

Over the last season up to now it looked to me like the night watch was quite literally down to a handful of men.
I assumed the ones that were there you don’t see anymore had just abandoned the wall for anywhere else after the attack on the wall and the coming of the dead.

We only see what, three of them after all that?

as for the wall, i know it's mostly destroyed. i saw last season. and i know the night's watch left and either were killed or have remnants that went to winterfell (or elsewhere). again, i've been watching the show. my questions more concern what happens from here on out. i don't think anyone can profess to know the answers. to be sure, i don't need answers to make the show enjoyable, and i don't need for the show to make sense out of every little thing. but considering the details of how we got here, i'm a little more than curious.

‘We’ve two dragons but no army. And a psycho queen with two armies to defeat. We better rebuild that wall back there though’.

Yeah we’ve heard the last of the wall.

‘Twould have been way cooler if Arya had dropped that dagger (purposely?) not into her other hand but into the teeth of the leaping direwolf (I don’t know which one is which) and he/she was the one to thrust it into the NK.

Or thrown it to Bran, who stands up, stabs the NK, and says "haha jk about being paralyzed"

honestly, i think it would have been amazing if the night king stabbed and killed arya while simultaneously being stabbed by her. going out as a martyr would've created some talking points for sure. but then joe would still be crying.

Just the very eastern edge of the wall was destroyed. The thing is several hundred miles long. They could rebuild it or fortify the part that was destroyed.

Or plug the hole with a pile of dothraki corpses.

They did a fantastic job of making me feel like 27 emotions in the span of 3 seconds. I was certain he was going to kill her. That whole sequence was amazing.

I never said that you don't watch the show. Obviously you watch the show.

The dragons will fuckin devastate kings landing. You’ll soon forget about building that pointless wall

What would have happened If the night king managed to kill Bran?
That was his goal right? Would he have carried on to wipe out everyone else in the world or job done and go home ?

Yes. His goal was wiping out all humanity.

Yes. His goal was wiping out all humanity.

Hates humans but has no problem employing them post mortem for his army

Damn. Maybe this show is a political allegory.
