Saw him a few years ago as part of the Easy Eye Sound Revue tour and he’s amazing. I snatched up the first two albums right away and I am very excited for this one in a couple of weeks.surfndestroy wrote:I think I just discovered a new artist to dig into.
Crazy side note: dude was I believe an iron worker for many years but had to retire when he mysteriously started going blind, so he took up singing. Didn’t start recording music until he was in his 60s.

Today is possibly the last edition of Bandcamp Friday. I decided to pick up a couple Arthur Russell CDs. He's a major influence on some of my favorite artists, and I've enjoyed his music that I've been exposed to, so I figured I should start to dig in a little more.
