I think a rewatch is definitely in order.

Knowing where it goes I think we’ll all be a bit more forgiving of the first 2 or 3 episodes. Seem to remember we all thought it was kind of slow to get moving.

Nah. The show was great from jump. Besides, almost all the Bix we got was in the first 3 episodes! If that's true again, I'll relish the start of S2.

Did I ever tell you I was behind Fiona Shaw in a queue last year? Cassians mother. (And an amazing actress of stage and screen). I was too nervous to say hello.
Wanted to ask her was she any relation to Robert Shaw (Quint in Jaws). He was a similarly gifted and experienced actor.

Do. First two or three might not feel like your thing but it’s set up. It’s goes intense after that.
Some beautiful world building and character development in the first three tho.
