Unlike stupid shit like Valentine’s Day, anniversaries have a more personal significance IMO, and I’m proud of the relationship we’ve built, improved, and maintained over our years together.
Maybe I should think of some things we can do to make it feel more like an event.
Followed through on this tonight!

Went here on our day off this week. Missed the pre-set lunch special, so we had Dal Palak & Tawa Gosht
The garlic naan is out of this world.
Supposedly they have amazing fried chicken. Next time.

'Twas good. My best friend growing up was Indian. Every time I step into a restaurant the smells remind me of hanging out at his house. His mom cooked many good things.

Virgilio’s yesterday for lunch with a couple of my fellow corporate shills.
The best garlic knots I’ve ever had.

pep, is Panino's still out there? I haven't been to your area since I lived there in the 90's but that was always a popular place for lunch and I remember it being really good.

I used to get the shrimp scampi for take out at the Panino’s off Powers Blvd. I live in Castle Rock now and I’m not certain if there’s a location here or in Denver metro. I haven’t seen one.

Haha no, I don't remember that one. But there's probably more than one front for him there.

I tried Kataifi-wrapped Halloumi last night for the first time. Still thinking about it. The restaurant put a serrano glaze on top that was a perfect complement. Joe, there was an octopus dish on the table too.

My favorite local breakfast diner. Nothing fancy, just excellent breakfast food.

Met some friends at Jack's Wife Frieda in the Village last night. A great time was had by all. Food was on point, as usual.
