It's probably the political/social songs specifically where it gets dicey. Bu$hleaguer verses, WWS chorus, Unemployable, Army Reserve, No More... "Grievance" was a long, long time ago.

Remember, The Fixer sounded kind of bad ass with that shitty first recording we had of it from outside the video shoot...
This does sound much better though.

Theres a big chance the distortion is making it seem heavier than it is, i think.
I'm also not too hot on the 'mind your manners!' shouty bit but i'll wait untill the actual song is out

Maybe a little. It has the motorhead quality but it also reminds me of older Green Day.

Yeah, this is neither sucking nor rocking for me. The stop/start "Mind your manners!" made me lol, though.
Whether this is great or terrible will mostly depend on in-album context, I think.

This also happened with The Fixer. We all thought it sounded awesome if I remember rightly. LOL.
