Okay that last part was vegan rage bait. I don't give a fuck about cows.

I think a lack of consistency is the only reason people think they suck. Their highs are super high. At a certain point they just... kept churning out shit. If you judge them on their 90's output alone, they're pretty baller.

Sounds a lot like another band we all know

Indeed. But Weezer went the refuse-to-grow-up, "look at us meme!" route, while Pearl Jam just left Eddie alone with a ukulele for too long. The damage was irreversible either way.

I'd never heard this before, sounds like a lame rewrite of "A Whiter Shade of Pale"

I do like a good amount of Weezer. I like the following albums / tracks: Blue, Pinkerton, Green (to a lesser extent), Maladroit, "The Angel and the One" from Red, Everything Will Be Alright in the End (minus "Back to the Shack"), White (minus "Thank God for Girls").

I was pretty pumped on the one-two punch of EWBAITE and White, but then Pacific Daydream was back to embarrassing shit so I completely disengaged. I've given a few tracks a chance since then but most of the stuff I've heard is really boring

I've found something good to great from every album, but I do get why it's not for everyone. You have to really get Rivers for some stuff to work. Just grow up and listen to Raditude

I've listened to Raditude. I should have listed "If You're Wondering If I Want You To" as one of the songs I like. Everything else on that album is really bad
