That's a shit thing to say, man. I gave it a 5 because I fucking love it.
What he wants to know is, do you love it because it’s good or because it’s Pearl Jam?
What the fuck do you think you condescending punk? Because it's good. Sorry if that doesn't fit some idiot's narrative. This is why people around here get all pissy at certain posters. Damn.
This is way less chill than any poster with colored text in his signature should be

this. i understand why, but they fell too far in love with workshopping stuff at home and bringing it in almost fully formed. that's 5 solo players, not a band in a room. that sense of discovery and interconnectedness is what gets me most excited for this record.
I think for me, this song's missing that; it feels airbrushed within an inch of its life (which I kind of expected, as that felt like a problem with a lot of Earthling, despite the abandon baked into the songs themselves). I feel like you hear a lot more of the dusty corners and room tones on Gigaton, even if that was an album that was created over a longer period of time.

yeah i hear you. there's a push and pull between how they are playing and how they are sounding.

What? Jesus i was just inferring what Trag was getting at with his post. Yikes dude
It's strange these days when some posters pay for another poster's mistake

I did it.

Page 1 thru 44.

It's a good song.

Needs a Boom solo live to be epic.

I voted 3 stars. It's a 3.5 star song but downgraded due to the production. Love the energy and overall sentiment of the song. It's just missing something I can't quite put a finger on.

I don't mean any ill will to trag, ruddo or anyone here. I ask that opinions be respected, rather than demeaned. People should never have to defend their love of a song, least of all a Pearl Jam song at a Pearl Jam forum.
