THANK YOUdurdencommatyler wrote:So, I'm finally rewatching Season One with the wife. She's never seen it. It's only my second time through. I've re-read a good chunk of this thread and I have to man up -- with specific apologies to Dev, Mecca and Skitch. And, yeah, fine, even to Harry Lime. Though, I still think he's a fucking misogynist.
durdencommatyler wrote:Nah, I was kinda of being a shit. I had a big chip on my shoulder during that initial conversation and people were making some valid points that I was scoffing at. That's not cool. I owe them an apology.
And.... fuck I really hate saying this... Lime was right. I did miss some shit. Last time I watched it I was doing other things while it was on AND it was hot as balls outside so I had a fan going which made it really difficult to hear some of the dialogue.
Watching it again, it's obvious that I was being kind of a dick earlier in the thread and I want to take some of that back.

Take us there, Skitch.@SkitchP wrote:I just reread this entire thread to figure out why joey thought he should apologize to me.
you have nothing to apologize for d,t
But, you have Vince Vaughn now instead!VinylGuy wrote:Man, im thrilled. I need this...but im going to miss rust and marty.
i'm sure he will put on a good performancehlniv wrote:But, you have Vince Vaughn now instead!VinylGuy wrote:Man, im thrilled. I need this...but im going to miss rust and marty.
That's a noble goal to be sure. But it may be hard not to compare them given the expectations going into Season 2 based entirely on Season 1.VinylGuy wrote:I wont make that mistake. Im not comparing them. This need to be a Beast on his own.
You say one bad thing about Tim Riggins and I'll punch you in the ear. Like, super hard, too.VinylGuy wrote:Im really exited with the cast. Its very promising..vince vaughn is such a great actor..and colin farrell? One of the.most talented of his generation.
I hate that taylor guy.
I don't think so. Not for me. I'm looking at this as it's own thing entirely. There can be no comparison.Chris_H_2 wrote:That's a noble goal to be sure. Joey we should coordinate and watch this at the same time every week. It will be like we are watching it together.durdencommatyler wrote:I don't think so. Not for me.
